Honda Campus All-Star Challenge

Sponsored by American Honda Motor Company, Honda Campus All-Star Challenge is a quiz bowl tournament administered by College Bowl for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Howard HCASC Team has earned a total of $247,500 in grants since 1989. Howard University's HCASC Team has participated in 30 seasons of the HBCU quiz bowl tournament. Out of 30 seasons of participation, the HCASC Team has earned a spot in the National Championships 26 times. In February 2019, the HCASC Team finished in 1st place at the National Qualifying Tournament held at Morgan State University.

Leadership

Dr. John A.W. Harkless is a HCASC Alumni and All-Star. He serves as the coach for the HCASC Team and brings a wealth of game play knowledge and experience.
