Am I eligible to shop at Nourish HU?
All currently enrolled Howard University students experiencing food insecurity are eligible to receive assistance from the pantry. Access to pantry resources is made by appointment.
How do I make an appointment?

Please note, once your appointment is made this time is reserved especially for you. We kindly ask that if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so using the confirmation email so that the timeslot can be released and offered to another student. Repeat no shows or duplicate appointments may impact future access.
Your personal information provided remains confidential. Additional questions are intended to assist our efforts in reporting outcomes and effectiveness of the program, as well as identifying the greatest needs among our students that can be matched with our generous donors and supporters.
How often can I shop in the pantry?
Students may shop at Nourish HU up to once a week.
Do you provide bags?
Shoppers should bring their own reusable bags to their appointment.
Do you offer walk in appointments?
Nourish HU does not offer walk in appointments.
How can I support Nourish HU?
We are extremely grateful for your in-kind donations of grocery items and/or personal care items to support the students at Howard University. Below is a list of pantry items we regularly offer and always need more of. Please note we cannot accept items that are damaged, expired, opened or partially used.
Donations are accepted during our regularly operating hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. To schedule an alternative drop off time of for questions email NourishHU@howard.edu
