The Store@HU

The Store@HU was developed to address student engagement, support, and health and wellness needs. We envision a campus where students can receive the nourishment they need to be healthy and productive members of the Howard University community.

The goal of The Store@HU is to reduce short-term food insecurity among its student body, thus supporting educational success and retention.

Students may request initial access to The Store@HU by filling out the Food Pantry Access Request Form. Students must be currently registered to request pantry access. Once the request is received and processed, students will receive a confirmation e-mail that they are able to access The Store@HU. Access will be granted within 2-4 business days. On each visit the student must present a valid Bison One Card for access.

The request form does NOT determine eligibility of food pantry access. All current students are allowed access once they sign up. The registration process is used to collect demographic information that will be used for analysis on effectiveness, Annual Reports, and future donors.
