The Office of Student Services has a broad mission, arising from the three distinct areas comprising the Office.  The office provides assistance in both the in- and out-of-class development of Howard University students, ensuring that student service programs are designed and carried out to support the students and to complement the mission of the University.

The Office of Student Services is committed to providing students with information and opportunities that educate and prepare students to meet the global, technological and ethical challenges of a dynamic global society.  The Office of Student Services offers a range of programs and services to help students reach their academic goals and enhance their personal, intellectual and social development.  The office contributes to campus life and the overall college experience.

Disability Services

The mission of Disability Services is to improve the educational development of students with disabilities and to enhance understanding and support within the University. By being responsive to individual needs, we assure that qualified students with disabilities have equal access to all University programs and services.


Judicial Affairs

The mission of judicial affairs is to promote academic integrity, ethical behavior and student learning in a safe and civil campus environment and to administer a student disciplinary system to ensure just and prompt resolution of alleged student misconduct.


Veterans Affairs

The mission of veterans' affairs is to provide information and transitional services for veterans and/or their dependents.
